SHM will have a camp for all NYC children, ages 2-5* years old, during April 6th - April 10th, for
SHM Spring Break '26 Camp: Where Curiosity Blooms 🌸🌱
This five-day camp is designed especially for young learners to explore the wonders of spring through hands-on science experiments, nature exploration, cooking experiences, creative art, and outdoor movement.
Each day will focus on a different spring-inspired theme:
🌧 Rainy Day Science – Children will conduct a fun “Rain in a Jar” experiment to learn where rain comes from.
🌱 Planting & Growing – Each child will plant their own seed and learn what plants need to grow.
🐻 Hibernating Animals – We’ll explore which animals sleep through winter and wake up in spring.
🥕 Spring Foods & Cooking – Children will prepare simple spring rolls while learning about fresh fruits and vegetables.
Kite Day Celebration – We will make and decorate kites while exploring how wind helps them fly.
Our goal is to nurture curiosity, independence, and creativity while building early science, math, language, and social skills in a joyful and engaging environment.
We can’t wait to grow, explore, and soar together this spring!
